Product (Recipe) Review: Cookin' Vegan's Rocky Road Bites

About a week ago, I had an amazing day for vegan mail. Not only did I receive a package from Nacho Mom's and Chocopeno, I also received a delightful box from Jenn at Cookin' Vegan. This package contained the meyer lemon marmalade she's been raving about on Twitter, as well as a jar of her vegan rocky road bites that she claims are ridiculously easy to make.

When I opened the box, I had just finished lunch, so I figured it would be a perfect time to have a little dessert in the form of vegan rocky road bites. Let's just say this was LOVE AT FIRST BITE. The simple combination of dark chocolate, toasted almonds, Sweet and Sara vegan marshmallows and a hint of sea salt made for the most perfect little bite of heaven ever. I can't even begin to explain how stoked I am on these little delectibles.

I told Jenn she needs to go into business manufacturing and marketing these things to the larger vegan community, and that I would gladly finance the project. Maybe she's less of a capitalist than I am because she posted the incredibly easy recipe on her blog yesterday for the world to see.

I would highly recommend making a large batch of these for yourself, but I'm warning you; they're highly addictive and they'll go fast. Thanks to Jenn for the box of goodies as well as giving the vegan world a unbelievably tasty and easy recipe for these bite-size chunks of bliss.
