Product Review: Simply Fit Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you read this blog often, you probably know that two of my favorite dessert vices are vegan donuts and chocolate chip cookies. These run the range from complete junk food (albeit animal-free junk food) to pretty decent on the health side. Like myself, I believe most vegans would prefer a dessert that is really delicious, but also on the healthier side. Insert Simply Fit Chocolate Chip cookies.
Simply Fit are one of those items that fits into the "accidentally vegan" category, made by a company with a health and wellness niche, but not aiming to be specifically vegan. What attracted me to the Simply Fit cookies, besides them being vegan and chocolate chippy, was the blend of whole, ancient grains used in the mix. This blend includes amaranth, spelt, rye, corn, barley, quinoa, flax, rolled oats, sesame seeds and whole wheat.

Due to the unique blend of grains used, the cookies do come off tasting like a health food treat, but that is not to say that they aren't really good. They're certainly not super soft, but also not too hard. If you ever had McDonald's McDonaldland chocolate chip cookies when you were a kid, they're similar to those, but much bigger and earthier. If you happen to count calories, these puppies are only 120 calories each and big enough to only have one as an after-meal dessert or mid-day snack.
The bad news about these cookies is they are not available in stores. The only place you can find them is on an internet site that you have to be a member of to purchase. The good news is that if you become a member of the site, you can make extra money simply by telling friends about these cookies and other products like eco-friendly home and personal care items.
If you're interested in earning an extra $500-$1,000 a month by referring people to these and other wellness products, give me a shout via email at veganvagrant@gmail.com to get the info.

Hmm.. I love those crispy oatmeal cookies that surprise you with chocolate chips instead of raisins! These look like a great midday sweet tooth fix with some almond milk!
