Century Plaza's Breeze Restaurant to Participate in DineLA

If you read my review of the vegan options at Breeze Restaurant inside Hyatt Century Plaza, I'm sure you were salivating. The food is top notch, including locally grown organic produce, house-made nut cheeses, and plenty of gourmet vegan options. Now, as a part of DineLA, Breeze is offering a three course dinner for $34 with some amazing vegan options for each course. If you live in the LA area, and especially if you want to show omnivores how insanely delicious gourmet vegan food can be, you have to check this out. It would make a killer date night as well, so keep that in mind. And if no other reason makes you want to visit, the vegan tiramisu is downright orgasmic. Here's the official press release:

Celebrate food with friends, family and coworkers by indulging in Breeze’s pre-fixed 3 course dinner for $34!

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 17, 2012) –  The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza invites you and yours to celebrate food by gathering around the table at its signature restaurant Breeze any evening during dineLA, January 22-27 and January 29th – February 3rd.  Diners will experience a special 3-course pre-fixed menu featuring Breeze’s farm to table cuisine as well as some special vegan options prepared by the hotel’s very own Senior Executive Chef, Manfred Lassahn. Indoor and outdoor garden seating is available (weather permitting) and the pre-fixed menu is set at $34 not including alcohol, tax and gratuity.  This is the first year that Breeze is a participant in dineLA. The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza’s dineLA dinner menu is comprised of a multi chapter array of comforting and seasonal dishes.

First Course

Breeze Roll: pickled carrots, peppers, marinated tofu, cellophane noodles, basil, mint, tamari dipping sauce.

Green Papaya Shrimp Salad: mango, daikon, bell pepper, chile-marinated shrimp, fresh herbs, peanuts, lime dressing, chipotle honey.

~or~

Crisp Harvest Salad: butter lettuce, spinach, local apples, roasted squash, cypress grove goat cheese, walnuts, maple vinaigrette.

Second Course

Skuna Bay Salmon: lapsang souchon tea rub, micro cilantro salad, soba noodles, dashi broth, shiitake mushroom, nori.

Mushroom “Risotto”: shiitakes, porcinis, chanterelles, cashew cream, truffle oil.mus

 ~or~

Braised Short Rib: coffee-ancho, creamy anson farm grits, mustard greens, cilantro-lime gremolata.

 Third Course

Vegan Tiramisu: eggless ladyfingers, mascarpone “cheese” filling, cocoa.
